It upsets me to know how much “ We the People “have permitted our federal Government to “run” our lives and to dictate our medical needs, our how to raise our kids when ALL the do is indoctrinate our young.
We have allowed our freedoms to be eroded to an extremely dangerous point of no return.
I am 81 yrs old but fear my children, grandchildren and Great -grandchildren will have to deal with what our generation failed to recognize and the failures to correct the path we are on.
Amen! I agree 100%. We need to keep praying and waking people up. There’s a great hearing going on today in Maine about vaccine mandates and many well known doctors, “disinformation dozen” member Dr. Christianne Northrup being one of them, are testifying. It’s awesome! It’s being streamed on the Children’s Health Defense website, I pray they will keep the video up so people can share! I really believe in my soul we are in the midst of The Great Awakening!

I urge you to vote yes for SJR 70
Thank you for this alert! I sent in my my support to the committee members this morning.
Parental rights to make medical decisions on behalf of their children should be upheld in Texa
This part seem very broad and makes me skeptical… What would constitute a “compelling” Gov interest?
(1)AAessential to further a compelling governmental
interest; and
(2)AAnarrowly tailored to accomplish that compelling
governmental interest.
Vote yes, represent us properly.
I fully support SJR 70. Parental rights should be left to parents, not the government! I have sent my support to the committee!!
Parents should make the relevant decisions for their children not government officials with woke ideologies. Only when there are extreme conditions such as potential death should the state be able to step in.
Please vote for Parental Rights SJR 70
Yes for parents rights!
Yes for parents rights!!
Can someone explain in layman’s terms what this means? What could an interference be? Just making sure they aren’t trying to sneak anything malicious in here.
(b)The state or a political subdivision of this state shall not interfere with the rights of a parent described by subsection (a) unless the interference is:
(1) essential to further a compelling governmental interest; and
(2) narrowly tailored to accomplish that compelling governmental interest.
That’s standard “strict scrutiny” language. Bills including that are codifying a known jurisprudential standard. It’s like RFRA which is super helpful: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_Freedom_Restoration_Act

Please vote YES and support SJR 70 to protect parental rights!
Amen to this. In the Free State of Texas, SJR 70 is a no-brainer for any Republican to support. Any Repub who does not should be primaried out of political existence.
I vote yes on SJR70
