| July 28, 2026 TFVC Newsletter: Tomorrow morning at 8:30 AM ET, Dr. Anthony Fauci is scheduled to testify before Sen. Rand Paul’s U.S. Senate Committee, where lawmakers are expected to examine issues including funding of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the alleged suppression of information surrounding the lab-leak theory, the handling of federal records, and former President Joe Biden’s infamous eleventh-hour 2025 blanket pardon. TFVC welcomes this opportunity for accountability. However, if the pattern of the past five years of COVID-related inquiries holds, we have modest expectations that the hearing will result in lasting policy reform or justice for those harmed. That may sound unusual coming from an organization known for its optimism, but it’s also why TFVC has never waited for the federal government to solve these problems. The real battleground has never been Washington. It’s always been Texas.Since 2015, we’ve fought in Austin to advance medical liberty. Unlike Washington, state government is where lasting change happens, with 14 TFVC-backed legislative victories secured since 2021 alone. While national headlines remain fixed on Washington, we’re already preparing for the next legislative session. Our focus is clear: ending vaccine mandates in healthcare education, healthcare employment, and patient care.We hope tomorrow’s hearing marks the start of genuine federal accountability. But regardless of what happens in D.C., TFVC remains focused on the work that has always mattered most: advancing and protecting medical liberty here in Texas. August 4, 2026 TFVC Newsletter: |
