SB 95 by Senator Bob Hall would require that healthcare providers obtain full informed consent prior to administering a vaccine to a child, including information about the risks and vaccine excipients. The bill would also create a civil penalty for providers who violate this law.

SB 619 by Senator Kevin Sparks protects the right of conscience of healthcare providers to decline to participate in any procedure or care that violates their fundamental values and beliefs.

These bills are being heard in the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services on Tuesday, March 18.
