SB 125 by Senator Bob Hall would allow individuals to designate their own blood donors. SB 315 by Senator Lois Kolkhorst would establish that Texans have a property right for their DNA, making it illegal to alter or modify someone’s DNA without their consent.
Both bills are being heard in the Senate Health & Human Services Committee on March 12.
