A passionate advocate for medical freedom, Angie believes strongly that each person must take an active role in their own health. In her youth she learned that standard medical protocol is not always the right path when a prescribed medicine caused her to have a debilitating condition lasting several years. Many hours of research opened her eyes to the risks of vaccines, and she became a staunch believer in true informed consent. Angie began volunteering with TFVC in 2018, coordinating the creation of new printed materials to provide vaccine facts to the public. She also volunteered as an Outreach Coordinator and currently serves on the TFVC Board of Directors. Angie is dedicated to informing Texas citizens, especially new moms, about vaccine choice and health freedom. She and her husband Billy live in the San Antonio area and have three daughters.

Michelle Evans is a married mother of three and long-time advocate for families and freedom in Texas. She has fought for special needs families through her work with Thinking Moms’ Revolution and Autism Media Channel, and was a Research Assistant for the groundbreaking documentary “Vaxxed”. More recently, she ran a hard-fought grassroots campaign for Texas House. Her most significant and fulfilling work, however, was done on behalf of parents and children across Texas when she and two other moms founded Texans for Vaccine Choice in 2015. That year, she spent nearly every day of the legislative session knocking on doors of Senators and Representatives, testifying in committee hearings, organizing events and making connections with staffers and elected officials. She also served as the organization’s first Communications Director and was an original member of the Board of Directors.

Nearly 25 years ago, after losing a loved one due to vaccine injury, experiencing the abandonment that follows a vaccine injury, and discovering the safety & liability issues inherent in the vaccine program, Carrie made the choice to become a fierce and vocal advocate for medical liberty.
Since that decision, Carrie has volunteered for multiple medical liberty organizations in three different states, mainly focusing on legislative advocacy and community outreach. As a trained mental health professional with a thriving private practice, Carrie never imagined that she would become a paid advocate, but fate had other plans when inspiration struck for her while volunteering with Texans For Vaccine Choice in 2021. Carrie decided that she would combine her professional knowledge and personal experience as a volunteer advocate to create a complete medical liberty volunteer advocate training program.
Texans For Vaccine Choice supported Carrie’s efforts and offered her a full time position as Outreach Director and “Effective Outreach’ was launched in January of 2023. The addition of our volunteer training program revolutionized our organization and has enabled us to maintain our 100% bad bill kill rate, pass 12 protective pieces of legislation, train nearly 100 volunteers, place active medical liberty advocates all over Texas, and cement our status as the most effective state-level medical liberty organization in the country.
Carrie is a married mother of three who lives in Texas, loves liberty, and feels grateful to be of use.
