HB 1586 by Representative Lacey Hull would allow Texans to print Reasons of Conscience Affidavits at home, streamlining the process to exempt themselves or their children from vaccination requirements.
HB 4076 by Representative Jeff Leach would prohibit the denial of organ transplantation based solely on the organ recipient’s vaccination status.
HB 4535 by Representative John McQueeney would require vaccinators received written informed consent prior to administering a COVID vaccine, and authorizes the development of an “information sheet” for COVID jabs that includes information on the risks and lack of safety testing for this particular shot.
HB 3540 by Representative Sam Harless would aggressively expand the capacity of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with regard to ordering and administering vaccines.
All four bills are being heard in the House Committee on Public Health on Monday, April 28.
