TFVC celebrated the end of the 89th Legislative Session with six key legislative wins, including HB 1586 and HB 4076, which streamline vaccine exemption processes and protect transplant patients from vaccine-based discrimination. HB 3441, holding vaccine manufacturers liable for harm if they advertise in Texas, also passed with surprising bipartisan support. Additional victories include bills requiring informed consent, reporting of vaccine side effects, and a proposed constitutional amendment affirming parental rights. While some strong bills were stalled due to committee inaction, TFVC successfully defeated all harmful legislation and remains committed to advancing medical liberty in Texas.

TFVC is formed by a group of parents in response to the filing of HB 2006, a vaccine mandate bill. During that legislative session, we successfully mobilized grassroots opposition – organizing our first rally, testifying in hearings, and running boots-on-the-ground campaigns that contributed to the defeat of that mandate bill, along with 16 others aimed at eroding medical liberty. These victories triggered a political ripple effect, establishing TFVC as a formidable force in Texas.
