Since Texans for Vaccine Choice was formed in 2015, there have been only a handful of legislators who have proudly stood alongside us every step of the way, legislators who truly believed in the cause of medical liberty and were willing to collaborate with us to craft strong legislation and defeat bad bills. Representative Tony Tinderholt is one such lawmaker.
Mr. Tinderholt had the moral courage to advocate on behalf of those who were too often overlooked or actively censored, no matter the cost, and he championed vaccine choice long before it entered the mainstream conversation. He has been a steadfast, yet quiet, warrior to whom we owe a debt of gratitude.
It is with great sadness but even greater pride that we share the announcement of his retirement from the Texas House of Representatives. It has been a true joy to work with him over the course of six Legislative sessions, to watch his family grow, and to witness the emergence of a leader.
While TFVC will deeply miss his presence and support in the Capitol, we know that God has significant plans for him and his family.
