On July 15, leading up to the first Special Session, TFVC delivered a petition with over 7,000 signatures to Governor Greg Abbott, asking him to add OTC Ivermectin to the list of issues to be deliberated during the session.
Representative Shofner immediately filed HB 84, and Senator Bob Hall filed the companion bill, SB 69. Each bill has a majority of the membership signed on in support of making Ivermectin easier for Texans to access, signaling that the bill would overwhelmingly pass if added to the agenda.
Unfortunately, the session stalled when dozens of Democrat House members fled the state. Now, Governor Abbott has committed to immediately calling a second special session, and this presents an opportunity for TFVC and its supporters to again call on Governor Abbott to allow Texans to get Ivermectin without a doctor’s prescription.

Thank you for taking swift action by committing to immediately calling a second special session! During the regular legislative session, HB 3219 died due to a House deadline. HB 84 and SB 69 in the first special session each garnered the support of a majority of its respective chamber’s membership. And in July, Texans for Vaccine Choice delivered a petition with 7000 names asking you to put this issue on the call.
Please help advance medical liberty by adding OTC Ivermectin Access to the second special session agenda.
Thank you.
Please add OTC Ivermectin Access to the second special session agenda. Thanks for your support!
