FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE. KELLER, TX. March 9, 2026 ā It is with both joy and sadness that TFVC announces the departure of Political Director and co-founder Michelle Evans. Evans will begin a new chapter in political advocacy as the Organizational Director at the Republican Party of Texas, where she hopes to continue to build on the victories she helped achieve at TFVC, and apply the skills she honed at our organization to a broader range of conservative issues.
TFVC President Rebecca Hardy issued the following statement:
āWe are incredibly grateful to Michelle Evans for her years of service to Texans for Vaccine Choice. As a co-founder and our Political Director, Michelle played a pivotal role in building TFVC into one of the most effective grassroots organizations in Texas. Her leadership helped advance the cause of medical freedom and mobilize thousands of Texans to defend their rights. While her departure leaves a big hole in our organization, we are excited about her opportunity and her future.ā
Evans reflected on her time at the organization and her future work:
āMy political journey began with vaccine choice, and my passion still lies there. I am hopeful that the achievements experienced by TFVC during my tenure as Political Director will carry over into my new role at the Republican Party of Texas,ā said Evans. āI remain 100 percent committed to advancing and protecting medical privacy, informed consent, and vaccine choice.ā
TFVC looks forward to continuing to collaborate with Evans in her new role and working together to advance the shared values of medical freedom, individual liberty, and informed consent.
