The Primary Election results are in, and TFVC is celebrating BIG wins for our recommended candidates across Texas!

In statewide races, we congratulate Don Huffines on his outright victory in a four-way race for Texas Comptroller. Nate Sheets also secured the Republican nomination for Agriculture Commissioner, bringing a much-needed fresh perspective to the race.

Federally, Steve Toth prevailed in his primary challenge in CD 2. Briscoe Cain, Jace Yarbrough, and Jon Bonck are headed to runoffs in their respective congressional races, as is Ken Paxton in his pursuit of U.S. Senate.

In the Texas Senate, incumbent champions like Bob Hall, Lois Kolkhorst, and Kevin Sparks were re-elected. David Cook, who earned an A grade from TFVC in the 2025 Session, also prevailed in his bid for an open Senate seat.

In the Texas House, 37 of the 39 candidates on our Voter Guide secured victories, and another, Stan Stanart, advanced to a runoff. Notable outright wins include Chris Spencer in HD 1, Kristen Plaisance in HD 3, Andy Hopper in HD 64, Cheryl Bean in HD 94, and Armin Mizani in HD 98.

And Proposition 3 – prohibiting the denial of medical care based on vaccination status – passed resoundingly.

Congratulations to all of these candidates. Team TFVC is celebrating alongside you and remains deeply grateful to the informed voters who showed up and made their voices heard.

Stay tuned! TFVC will make sure you are prepared to help our medical liberty candidates finish strong in the May runoffs.
