Yvette Whitcher

As a young mom in her twenties, Yvette was exposed to vaccine injuries and environmental toxins which opened to eyes to the importance of parental rights and vaccine choice. Today, she’s a mother to 5 and grammy to 2, and continues to advocate for medical freedom as part of her legacy to them. She has also volunteered and led groups with Tarrant County 4-H, Engage Texas, and American Heritage Girls. She is thrilled to be a part of the TFVC team; creating a powerful synergy in achieving medical consent awareness and positive changes legislatively.

Kelly Vela

With a storied history in civil and political rights activism, Kelly brings an enthused energy and passion for reaching people in numerous avenues to her role as Communication Liaison at Texans for Vaccine Choice. She has successfully created and grown several active organizations that continue to make a difference in their respective communities. Her heart for helping others and experience with vaccine injuries led her to advocate for this underserved population. She is one of the original members of Texans for Vaccine Choice and has volunteered with the organization since its inception as a member mentor, event coordinator, social media communications administrator and more. Kelly and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, participating in sports and attending live music concerts.

Carrie Bigford

Carrie Bigford has been a fierce and vocal advocate for medical freedom since 2003 when she was made aware of the issues surrounding our current vaccine program at a work conference. Since that time, Carrie has had the opportunity to work with multiple medical liberty organizations in three different states as a volunteer and currently serves Texans for Vaccine Choice as the Outreach Director. Carrie is very passionate about helping others know and assert their medical liberty rights effectively.

Michelle Evans

Michelle Evans is a married mother of three and long-time advocate for families and freedom in Texas. She has fought for special needs families through her work with Thinking Moms’ Revolution and Autism Media Channel, and was a Research Assistant for the groundbreaking documentary “Vaxxed”. More recently, she ran a hard-fought grassroots campaign for Texas House. Her most significant and fulfilling work, however, was done on behalf of parents and children across Texas when she and two other moms founded Texans for Vaccine Choice in 2015. That year, she spent nearly every day of the legislative session knocking on doors of Senators and Representatives, testifying in committee hearings, organizing events and making connections with staffers and elected officials. She also served as the organization’s first Communications Director and was an original member of the Board of Directors.

Terence Huffines

The genesis of Terence’s political involvement began during the early Tea Party movement when he volunteered in 2007 for the Ron Paul presidential campaign. More recently, Terence has volunteered for various campaigns and causes, serving three times as a delegate to the RPT state convention and as a precinct chair from 2018 to 2022 where he helped to activate and mobilize his community. The cause of vaccine choice remains at the forefront of Terence’s advocacy as he dedicates his efforts in educating young families and all Texans of the importance of informed consent and other issues surrounding medical liberty. Terence and his wife have two children and are expecting twins soon.

Angie Lemmons

A passionate advocate for medical freedom, Angie believes strongly that each person must take an active role in their own health. In her youth she learned that standard medical protocol is not always the right path when a prescribed medicine caused her to have a debilitating condition lasting several years. Many hours of research opened her eyes to the risks of vaccines, and she became a staunch believer in true informed consent. Angie began volunteering with TFVC in 2018, coordinating the creation of new printed materials to provide vaccine facts to the public. She also volunteered as an Outreach Coordinator and currently serves on the TFVC Board of Directors. Angie is dedicated to informing Texas citizens, especially new moms, about vaccine choice and health freedom. She and her husband Billy live in the San Antonio area and have three daughters.

Rebecca Hardy

As a speech-language pathologist, Rebecca has encountered many children with profound vaccine injuries. These experiences created a passion for protecting others from these kinds of negative health outcomes, which she has turned into activism. Rebecca is one of the original three founders of TFVC and has been working to grow this organization from when it was only an idea. She currently serves as President, overseeing all departments and the trajectory of the vaccine choice movement in Texas. Rebecca is dedicated to protecting medical liberties and informed consent for all Texans. Rebecca and her husband Tim have two daughters.
