A third special legislative session began on October 9, and Governor Abbott thankfully added “prohibiting COVID-19 vaccine mandates by private employers” as a priority legislative issue. On Tuesday, October 10, the Senate Health and Human Services Committee will proactively meet to consider such legislation.

It is time to stop this already antequated idea that this shot is of any value! As a health care worker who was forced out of her job after 25 years, I am done with this charade! Now my daughter who is newly graduating nursing school is fighting NOT to have to threaten her health just to accept her first job!
