ACTION ALERT: TELL ABBOTT TO PROTECT ALL TEXANS FROM VACCINE MANDATES

During the October 16th hearing on SB 7 (Sen. Middleton) in the House State Affairs Committee, Representatives Raymond and Leach (who is carrying this bill in the House) both advocated for expanding the Governor’s call to address not only private employer COVID vaccine mandates, but employment discrimination related to any vaccine, as well as protecting nursing students who are currently at risk of having to abandon their degree if they do not get a COVID vaccination. We fully support broadening the Governor’s special session priority legislation to protect medical liberty for more Texans!

  4. Thank you Governor Abbott for acknowledging that Texans need to be protected from private sector COVID vaccine mandates. Please immediately expand the special session call to include ALL vaccines and to protect Texas nursing students from vaccine mandates. Informed consent and personal choice with regards to medical freedom are critical for the people of Texas. Based on the past few years, it is important to protect Texans from any type of medical treatment mandates or requirements.

  6. Dear Governor Abbott,
Please finish the job and get this passed. We don’t want any window left for those that abuse their power to force people that need their jobs to accept being guinea pigs and take poison jabs. Protect the people that voted for you

  9. Dear Govenor Abbott,

Thank you for acknowledging that Texans need to be protected from private sector COVID vaccine mandates.
Tge CDC acknowledge that all vaccines are inherently unsafe, hence the VAERS System. As an RN o have witnessed many vaccine injuries in both humans and animals and the fiancial devastation left behind.
Please immediately expand the special session call to include all vaccines and to protect Texas nursing students from vaccine mandates. I would like to add, that no one should be forced to take and medication, chemical, or foreign substance to be able to participate in any state activity or society in general. Texans should have sovereignty over their bodies.

  12. Please expand SB 7 to include all vaccines & students. During the past year and a half the COVID vaccine mandate issue severely effected me personally. The organization I faithfully served for 20 years bullied, coerced & threatened me in an attempt to force compliance to their vaccine mandate. They continually denied my sincerely help religious beliefs with no explanation! I was placed on unpaid leave & continually threatened with termination. This situation caused me many sleepless nights, lack of appetite, unintended weight loss, shedding of many tears & severe anxiety like I have never experienced before! It was one of the worst experiences of my life! I never want to go through such an experience again & would not wish this on anyone else.

    Thank you,
    Jennifer Marshall

  13. Support Raymond & Leach, include all vaccines.
I’ll vote against school vouchers. They are not the answer to fixing problems in public schools.

  14. I am one of those students being pushed to get the shot before applying to nursing school! I will not! Thank you for fighting for Texans rights on vaccine choice!

  15. We were in the process of hiring a very qualified nurse in our department when we got the message that he couldn’t be hired due to not being vaccinated with the COVID vaccine. He refused to get it and I don’t blame him for that. When medical facilities are short staffed as it is we should be able to hire good qualified nurses even if they refuse to be vaccinated. Thank you for protecting and fighting for those who feel strongly about this issue.

  16. Please do not let anyone force that supposed vaccine on anyone in the health industry. Fortunately, we were allowed a religious exemption at Scott and White if it was accepted. However, noone should ever be forced to take something they do not want. Since this jab has not proven to prevent anything, it is not logical to force anyone to take it. I was terribly saddened about the military members that were also forced to take it or get out. They all need to be reinstated as well. My coworkers and I worked through Covid high season and most of them that had the vaccine, actually got Covid. I did not get the vaccine, and I did not get Covid. If people want it, they should be allowed to get it, but if you do not, you should not be forced to get it.
