TFVC STATEMENT ON REP. SLATON’S MISCONDUCT COMPLAINTS

Keller, TX. May 8, 2023. Texans for Vaccine Choice is deeply disturbed by the recent report from the House Committee on General Investigating on the matter of complaints against Representative Bryan Slaton. We condemn his reprehensible actions in the strongest terms possible and call for his resignation from the Texas House of Representatives.

Our organization works with citizens and lawmakers from across the state to ensure our organizational goals are achieved. These partnerships are based on mutual trust and respect, but when these principles are violated and laws are broken, we have to part ways.

As an organization, we have always maintained a zero-tolerance policy toward inappropriate behavior generally and the power dynamics at issue here particularly. Our supporters and partners should know that while we have partnered with Mr. Slaton in the past, his conduct does not reflect our organization’s beliefs or values.

This is a sad turn of events. We are in prayer for all those involved and will continue to work towards our mission of medical liberty in Texas with integrity and transparency.
