For medical freedom to truly exist, it’s essential that representatives of the people commit to prohibit vaccine mandates. We want you to know which candidates have pledged their commitment to this cause. That was the motivation behind the Vaccine Choice Protection Pledge that we started before the Primaries and have continued throughout the year. We are now at the final election of the year! Our General Election Voter Guides are filling up well, but we can always add MORE names!
This is where YOU come in! If you are a candidate or know of a candidate who has not yet signed, we invite you to help us reach as many candidates as possible before early voting begins. (Note: TFVC is reaching out to all State Rep and State Senator incumbents who are on the ballot. We invite you to help us reach any non-incumbent candidates who may not have heard of the Pledge yet! You can see who has already signed HERE.)
Remember: This November your ballot will have partisan (Republican, Democrat, etc.) races from the county level up and MAY also have non-partisan local races (City Council, School Board, etc.). Due to the large number of names, we have split those two types of candidates.
For General Election Partisan Races, here is a sample email for you to send to candidates (Please personalize before sending for increased effectiveness):
Dear XXX,
Hello, my name is YOUR NAME, and I am a supporter Texans for Vaccine Choice (TFVC), the largest and oldest medical liberty organization in the state. TFVC is not anti-vaccine – TFVC does not advocate for removing access to vaccines or the dismantling of the vaccine program.
Like millions of other Texans, the vaccine mandates imposed throughout the pandemic affected my family firsthand. To that end, I am writing to you today to ask for your signature on the Vaccine Choice Protection Pledge from Texans for Vaccine Choice.
The Pledge reads: I pledge to the citizens of the State of Texas that I will vigorously work to prohibit all vaccine mandates in Texas, including those imposed by both public and private businesses.
I invite you to fill out the online Pledge HERE. All Pledge signers will be published on TFVC’s General Election Voter Guide.
Together, we can protect the medical liberty and livelihoods of all Texans.
With gratitude,
YOUR NAME
For Local Election Non-Partisan Candidates, here is a sample email for you to send to candidates (Please personalize before sending for increased effectiveness):
